Follow the steps below to complete your task.

Assignment A

  1. Today you will listen to the video in the Day 13 Assignment video
  2. No subtitles. No transcript
  3. Just Listen
  4. Did you understand less than 90%?
  5. Listen again
  6. Did you understand more than 90% this time?
  7. Congratulations!!
  8. If you have time, listen to it again and see if you understand more.

Assignment B

  1. Review your recording from yesterday on SpeakPulse. What ONE THING did you want to change? 
  2. Find the Day 13 Assignment on SpeakPulse
  3. Follow the instructions and record yourself today
  4. Listen to your Day 13 Recording
  5. Write down ONE thing you want to improve on from Day 13

Assignment C

  1. Log into ELSA Speak
  2. ELSA will prompt you to continue to learning plan.
  3. If you are not prompted, go to MY LEARNING and COACH
  4. Allow ELSA Coach to give you the lessons it feels you need. ELSA is AI-based and knows what you need to work on
  5. Practice with ELSA for at least 10 minutes using the lessons it provides
  6. Tomorrow you can continue where you finished.

Important:

Allow ELSA to give you the lessons each day

Do not write out your Speakpulse recording and memorize it. Be yourself.

Try to only record yourself once.

Why is listening so hard to do at a high level for more than 9 minutes?

KEY: Try to use new words from your Quizlet sets. Don't use the same words everyday. Your challenge is to use 2 - 5 new words each day.
